Michael Aubertine and his partners, Roger Howard and Michael Ingerson, who all live in Clayton, own Clayton Distillery. The combined knowledge, business and life experiences of the partners will provide Clayton Distillery with a solid foundation to build upon.

Michael Aubertine
Managing Partner, Operator

Michael is a New York State registered architect with twenty-four years of experience in the architectural field. He founded Michael Aubertine Architect, in nearby Watertown. Today the firm operates as Aubertine and Currier Architects, Engineers and Land Surveyors, PLLC. The firm has grown to include six partners and thirteen employees. In addition, Mr. Aubertine grew up on his family’s dairy farm in Cape Vincent where the grain is grown. The knowledge base and family support will be utilized to grow, dry, store and prepare the raw materials used for production.

Roger Howard

A North Country native as well, Roger completed undergraduate and post-graduate studies at St. Lawrence University and Northwestern University Medical School. He is an ABC Certified Prosthetist Orthotist with twenty one years of experience in the orthotic and prosthetic fields. In 2003, Roger founded Howard Orthotics and Prosthetics, LLC, in Watertown. HOP has a sole member and three employees and is the premier provider of orthotic and prosthetic services in Northern New York has become a leader in the field of orthotics and prosthetics applying the newest and most innovative technology. In addition, Mr. Howard has partnered with Fort Drum and Walter Reed Army Medical Center on several highly involved amputee cases. This partnership was featured on CNN.com. In 2009, HOP appropriated a central operations organizational approach in conjunction with Innovative Physical Therapy Solutions, PC to accommodate steady growth. Collectively termed IHOP, the practices each have sole owners and sixteen employees.

Michael Ingerson

Mike is a lifelong resident of the Thousand Islands Region who has over twenty years of experience in the residential and commercial construction industries. Mr. Ingerson spent approximately ten years gaining hands on experience in the General Construction Industry and then transitioned to the management side approximately 13 years ago when he was employed in the Construction Management Division of Bernier, Carr & Associates of Watertown NY. Over the last thirteen years Mr. Ingerson has managed projects ranging from $1Million Dollar Educational additions to a $65 Million Dollar Healthcare expansion.
